Baseball.....or softball wreath. Easy DIY

A lot of people have been asking me how to make this wreath. I posted it on Etsy but the shipping cost were just to much to try to ship to anyone without feeling like they are paying $80 for wreath. So here is how it's made. First wreath, wire, twine and ribbon from the Dollar Tree. Grass from Hobby Lobby, balls from around the house, wood is pine board 18 inches long stained.

First start with the wreath and grass. I used green wire to strap the grass to the wreath.
I cut it into strips, 3 grasses long, I fit them in between the wreath. The wreath is the opposite way a normal wreath in order to "cup" the baseball's better
This is the grass that I use, I got it at hobby lobby in the Easter section, if it is not Easter time try calling them and using the UPC
I use a small bit to drill holes to fish the wire through, I move the bit back and forth until it is clear enough to get the wire all the way through
This is the back of the wreath all strapped down and ready to go. I try to make sure all the wires are tucked in to avoid scratching the door.
After its all wire tight I added vynil letters to the wood and a pretty bow. Tada!!
I love how they turned out, and they were simple to make.
I made my first sell on etsy. The buyer asked for softball and baseball wreath and said "do what you want"
SO I DID AND I LOVE IT!!
It was so exciting to make something for someone who loved it just as much as you did.
If you feel the need to have one of these awesome wreaths I would be happy to make one for you, just remember shipping is a little high.
